Our Process

At Rise Above Remodeling, we follow a clear, step by step process designed to keep you informed, comfortable, and confident from the first conversation to the final walkthrough. Below is an overview of what you can expect as we work together to bring your vision to life.

Step 1. Establish Your Needs/Wants

Rise Above is here to help create YOUR dream space.

We ask that you have ideas about what you need and want before we come out to your home. Houzz.com & Pinterest.com are great resources to see different design ideas. New home models are a good way to see what is trending in home remodeling design. We suggest you also take some pictures of your home space along with some dimensions if possible.

Step 2. Get a Free Estimate

Get a Free Remodeling Estimate!

If you’re in Anthem, Scottsdale, Fountain Hills, Peoria, Glendale, or Phoenix, AZ, give us a call or visit our showroom to schedule a free estimate. One of our senior estimators will come to your home to take measurements and review initial design ideas, including any inspiration you’ve gathered. During the visit, we’ll discuss your budget range so materials and design options align with your goals. Our focus is delivering the best possible remodel within a budget you’re comfortable with.

Step 3. Design Consultation

Our estimators will call you within 3-7 business days of the initial measure.

During this phase, we review conceptual drawings, suggest product options, and confirm the project scope. Our designer listens closely to help define and refine your priorities, allowing us to further develop the drawings and scope of work. We’ll also discuss an estimated budget based on the preliminary scope, product ideas, and priorities identified during the initial measure. This process helps you clearly understand the value and capabilities Rise Above Remodeling brings to your project. Depending on the level of detail, this phase may take multiple meetings, and there’s no pressure to rush. Our team is here to guide you and ensure you feel comfortable with every decision.

Step 4. Agreement & Deposit

The agreement and deposit

After the design is agreed upon, product selection and scope of work have been finalized…our working document will be signed by both parties and a deposit will be collected to commence the project. Rise Above is a debt free company with our suppliers. Your deposit will be used to purchase all of your materials on COD.

Step 5. Pre-Construction Meeting

Meeting your project superintendent and designer

After your agreement is signed, your designer or estimator will outline when our project manager will contact you to discuss scheduling. A few weeks later, your project superintendent and designer will meet with you at your home for a pre-construction meeting. During this visit, we’ll review job site details such as scheduling, product delivery, home access, and site protection. This meeting also allows our team to walk the site and address any special considerations before work begins.

Step 6. Work Begins

The project officially begins!

This is the working phase of the project. The length of this phase can vary from a few days to a few months depending on the size and scope of your project. The project manager will keep you updated on scheduling for demo, trade work, and installations. You will also see your project manager or designer stop by at frequent intervals to assure all the details are carried out as planned.

Step 7. Punch List Walk Through

The final walk through

During this phase of the project all the details and remaining items come together to complete the finished look. At this time, we ask that you go through your project and notate any items that require attention. Please present them to your project manager in full during the walk through.

Step 8. Final

Project completion

The final step in our process is for your designer and project manager to perform a final job site review to see that everything has turned out as planned and that you are completely satisfied with the outcome. With your permission, we will take photos of your completed project to help inspire other homeowners that are just embarking down the remodeling road illustrating that the process is simple and enjoyable. During this last appointment your project manager will collect final payment for the balance due, and any change orders that were agreed upon during the construction part of the project.
